Documentary 101
We are so thankful to our friend Julia, who has a production company and has helped us to begin documenting our journey. We had our first impromptu filming session in her living room. Neat!!!
I know, I know, American names are tough to remember. So, Gillian becomes Julia....no problem. You girls look beautiful! get that video posted, will ya??
Our fundraising goal is to raise enough money to purchase three plane tickets to Nigeria, for ourselves and our aunt who is accompanying us. That's $4,000 to $6,000, depending on when we buy them. The sooner we buy, the better the price! We are now planning to travel in December, but we hope to purchase tickets shortly. Thank you for helping us reach this goal!

Editor's note: I met Lola in college and she has become like a sister to me. I became friends with Taiye as well and it is my privilege to maintain this blog and tell their incredible story...
Lola and Taiye grew up without their father, always wondering about him. This blog chronicles the miraculous story of how they came in contact with their dad and how they plan to travel to Nigeria to meet him. Thank you for sharing in this story!
Exciting!!!! We are with you, Taiye and Lola! :)
